343 Industries has unveiled the fourth fan-favourite Halo 2 multiplayer map that will be reimagined for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, joining Ascension, Coagulation, Zanzibar. Set in crumbling Forerunner ruins on Installation 05, Sanctuary’s symmetrical design, elevated walkways and twisting tunnels make it perfect for matches for Slayer, Capture the Flag, Territories and more.
Six maps from Halo 2 will be reimagined for the 10th anniversaryof Halo 2, while 343 Industries has only unveiled four so far it has made it clear that all four games will run at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second.
Fans will be able to easily watch and broadcast livestreams of Halo: The Master Chief Collection gameplay, such as competitive multiplayer matches, campaign walkthroughs, speed runs and more, through the newly announce Halo Channel.
343 Industries also announced that the ranking system for Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be identical to the original Halo 2 ranking system.
