The Obama campaign has decided to tie Bane to opponent Mitt Romney. No. The pictured one. Really.
Because of the release this week of Dark Knight Rises, and it's villain Bane, the Obama administration has come out with campaign literature trying to make cute in tying Bain Captial to Bane, the Batman villain, thus labeling Romney a villain worthy of being the Dark Knight's nemesis.
So, let us see. Bruce Wayne, aka, Batman is a rich venture capitalist trying to save the world from evil. Bane freed all the criminals from Arkham, is an illegal immigrant, and caused riots in the streets until he could break the back of an American businessman.
Uh, guys? Guys?
Regardless of your political affiliation, is this stupid and desperate. It is cute they are trying to tie the campaign to a very popular movie once it is released, but the narrative is going to backfire the moment someone with a clue sees what this author already has.
