Assassins Creed III Liberation for the PS Vita Has Female Lead, Multiple Costumes

By David West on 29/04/2024 21:49 UTC

Assassins Creed III Liberation is the PS Vita game releasing at the same time as Assassins Creed III for the PC and consoles. It features a female lead and multiple costumes.

Set in New Orleans during the 1700s, about the time as Assassin's Creed III is taking on the British, Aveline de Grandpré is taking on the French occupying the Louisiana Territory. Aveline's targets, though, include the Spanish in nearby Texas. Her choice of dress affects things in the game, so being dressed as a noble lady in the sleazy part of town raises more suspicion plus the dress restricts her movement.

Other abilities include being able to sucker men into doing things for her in the game, like giving her access to normally inaccessible rooms and the like. Even when dressed like a lady, Aveline's parasol is really a blowgun.
