Next-Gen due for possible March reveals

We all know that in recent light that there has been an increase in rumours or speculations going round the internet about the next-gen console era, however over the coming month we’ve noticed a more strong consistency in between these reports on next-gen. And it has to be said it most defiantly does look like this year we will see the reveal on the next-gen era on console gaming.

Rumours in the recently published February edition of Game Informer suggest that both companies are in the stages of preparing big “Apple-style” press conferences, to be held near the time of GDC (Game Developers Conference) in March.

While many sources are now claiming that we will indeed see the reveal of the next-gen systems before E3 in June.

While Sony Home Entertainment VP Hiroshi Sakamoto claimed that the PS4 would be revealed before E3 in a recent interview with emol.com at CES Last week. It does indeed look like this will be the year we see the official first glimpse on the next-gen of console gaming.

Neither Microsoft nor Sony will comment on this, so we will have to keep a close eye on both companies in the coming months. Especially with GDC and E3 approaching.

If Microsoft and Sony do announce their consoles this year before or at E3 it would be nice to see the next-gen consoles at Eurogamer Expo later this year in September.
