Ubisoft has announced all of the differing flavors and versions of Watchdogs when it is released on the Playstation and the PC.
Already, people are fuming. All of the various options collectors like are scattered across multiple versions of the game. Want a map of Chicago included in your game? Sorry, Europe only. Want specific DLC? Nope. DLC is available with the Season Pass option, but only parts of the DLC are initially available scattered throughout the pack. Want the special soundtrack CD? Specific editions only, and those don't include the DLC for the most part.
The entire thing is just one confusing mess. Ubisoft needed to have an Ultimate Edition, with all of the goodies in it, for collector types to be satisfied. Some streams, such as Senshudo's, have done box opening videos live or on You Tube. With so many editions, and none with everything, these streams are going to be pulling their hair out.
This author does not understand why Ubisoft would do this. Just think of the SKU's needed to be added in all of the online stores and Gamestop-like shops around the country just to cover everything. It is a headache for retailers, chaos for collectors.
But, Ubisoft will be laughing all the way to the bank if the game is as good as the previews indicate.
