Perils of Man, an indie game developed by IF Games, released Chapter 1 of the eagerly awaited title today.
The game was co-designed by an amazing lineup of industry veterans, including Bill Tiller (Ex-LucasArt's designer) and Gene Mocsy (1954: Alcatraz).
In Perils of Man: Chapter 1, you play teenager Ana Eberling. Thrown into a hidden world of time-travel, she uncovers lost technology with the potential to eliminate the uncertanties of life. She rapidly finds herself in over her head, in dangerous and bizarre predicaments.
The full release of the game is slated for Q2 of 2014. Interestingly, the game was never intended for a full iOS release. It began as commission work back in 2012 and went from a simple project to a huge endeavor for the small Swedish studio. IF Games built upon the original production ideas and further invested in the development of the game, taking the initative to add a huge expansion of content and take the game from a strictly iPad only game, to other iOS advices, such as the iPhone and iPod Touch. Other platforms are expected to be announced soon as well!
