EA and Dice took to their press briefing today to confirm both Hoth and Endor as two of the playable maps in the newest entry to the Star Wars: Battlefront series. They also confirmed that the game will explore the original trilogy era, instead of focusing on other parts of the Star Wars canon.
No release date was announced for Battlefront at the conference, disappointing some fans. Dice stated that the game will release when they feel it is ready and their comfortable with how the game has turned out. They don't want to repeat past mistakes (I.E. Battlefield 4) in how a game is rushed to release. They realize their mistakes from the past and have vowed to not do that with such a beloved IP as Star Wars.
