Ace New Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer Has Batmobile, Explosions, All The Good Stuff

Rocksteady have a tough job on their hands with Batman: Arkham Knight. With Arkham Asylum's combat system copied by every single third person action game since, and Origins so poorly received, their final effort has to live up to a legacy and refresh a now stale genre. Judging by the latest trailer, they'll be just fine.

The first of three new gameplay videos serves as part introduction to the titular Arkham Knight, and mostly a lot of punching and explosions. Realising how inately cool the Batmobile is, Rocksteady have decided to let you drive it into buildings, as shown with the ACE Chemical Plant section. Brawling looks like a more fluid take on the old formula, with seamless transitions between your vehicle, Arkham City's familiar gliding and ground traversal to keep the pace of gameplay up.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available for the "exclusive" array of PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 2nd, 2015, making it one of the first truly next-gen cross platform titles.
