Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered Announced

By AJ Hanson on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered is coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 on March 20th.

The former Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC release's remaster will include all of the game's released content and two bonus missions; The Siege of Fort de Sable and The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest. The Master Templar and Explorer packs are also making an appearance which will contain customization items, special outfits, and weapons including the Bayek Legacy Outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins.

Ubisoft Sofia, the studio behind the original game, is heading up the re-release. The game will run at a standard 1080p resolution and will also offer 4K support on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

For those unfamiliar, Assassin's Creed Rogue tells the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who eventually switches sides to become a Templar. The game received mixed reviews at launch, including from our very own staff.

An announcement trailer can be seen below. We can only hope that this remaster is treated with more respect than the Assassin's Creed II remaster released a few years ago was. What do you think? Will you pick up this remastered version for completions sake or has the allure of past AC games wore off on you?
