UPDATE: It has been noted in one of the YouTube descriptions for the upcoming trailer that Assassin's Creed Shadows will release on November 15, 2024 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X, there is no PS4 version.
Assassin's Creed fans, rejoice! Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Codename Red has become Assassin's Creed: Shadows, and will have a trailer released on May 15th at 9 AM PT.

The announcement of the trailer for the new Assassin's Creed title was made via X (formerly Twitter), and also confirmed via press release.
The title was first announced in 2022 during Ubisoft Forward and fans have been eagerly awaiting more news ever since. It has been confirmed that the game would be set in Fuedal Japan, but no further details have been made availabile until now.
Sleuthing fans have already discovered listing data of the next title, and claim that it will be released on PC, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, and Xbox Series S/X. This conflicts with the reporting of an industry insider, Shinobi602, who has claimed that Shadows will not release on PS4. Another rumor suggests that the game will release in November of 2024.
