Yannis Mallat of Ubisoft took to the Assassins Creed Unity blog today to discuss the current status of the game, discuss the latest patch "Patch 3", released today on Xbox One and Playstation systems, and to also make an announcement that surprised a lot of people. Ubisoft have made the decision to discontinue/suspend the Assassins Creed Unity Season Pass.
"To show our appreciation for your continued support..." Mallat said "the upcoming Dead Kings DLC will be released free for everyone." Mallat didn't stop there however as he went on to say that all Season Pass holders will be offered the choice of one game from a selection of Ubisoft titles for free.
The selection of games is amazing and includes:
- The Crew
- Far Cry 4
- Watch Dogs
- Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
- Rayman Legends
- Just Dance 2015
Far Cry 4 for free sounds like a GREAT deal to us! As does any of the other games on this list.
Let's hope Ubisoft have learned much from their mistakes reguarding Assassins Creed Unity and will publish much better games down the road.
