Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment revealed a new title in the Batman Arkham series today. While it is not a new game, Batman: Return to Arkham will be an HD Remaster of the two previous console generation games; Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
"Remastered by Virtuos, this set offers fans a chance to play the first two Batman: Arkham titles including all of the Game of the Year Edition bonuses and DLC from both games. Now with improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting effects, and shaders."
It's an interesting move for DC and WB to take, as last years final entry in the trilogy; Batman: Arkham Knight had a troubled and well documented launch.
Batman: Return to Arkham will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One July 29th. A new trailer was released and can be seen below. Does this make you want to jump back into the Arkham world, or will you hold off for awhile after Arkham Knight?
