Battlefield One Revealed

By AJ Hanson on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

During their special Battlefield World Premiere Event, EA/DICE and Xbox One announced the latest title in the long running Battlefield series of games, Battlefield 1.

After speaking about the history of the Battlefield series, we were treated to a new reveal trailer for the game which looks amazing. The in engine video looked amazing and showed off some classic Battlefield staples while bringing some impressive dramatic tension to the trailer as well.

The post-video interview touched on the concerns that the Battlefield community had after Battlefield Hardline and reinforced the back to basics approach they seem to have taken with this new title. Squad and team based gameplay makes a huge comeback as well as what they're calling "true immersion". What exactly that means, we will have to wait and see but the possibilities excite us.

A new campaign was also revealed, which will feature "a story from several different viewpoints..." They also spoke of making the campaign have more "Battlefield Moments"

You can see more in the video below, which highlights today's announcement.

We fully expect to see more Battlefield content at E3 and during the press conferences this year. Stay tuned to Senshudo for the latest from the Battlefield series as we get it!
