This morning Bethesda has announced the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition. The game is available to purchase and play right now at £49.99 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles or for PC users, £39.99.
The title which was awarded “Best MMO of 2015” by MMORPG.com was released in 2014 but was critizised for requiring an active subscription in order to play. Positive reviews increased in volume when the game was renamed to The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited in March 2015. During this process, the necessary subscription in order to play was lifted. Four map-expanding DLCs have been released since then.
The Gold Edition contains all four major DLC packs which allows players to easily access the entirety of Tamriel. Join your friends to battle for the control of Cyrodiil’s capital or enter the secret enclaves of the Dark Brotherhood on the Gold Coast. The first four DLC packs allow access to over 40 hours of additional story, locations, enemies and tons of loot.
Simultaneous to this release, existing players can now add all four DLC packs to their game with the new Guilds and Glory bundle pack- available right now in the Crown Store at a discounted price of 5,500 Crowns.
