Bruce Lee has made his appearance in EA Sports UFC title. Releasing June 17th, the legend joins the regular UFC roster to in a serious upgrade on the next gen consoles. I observed a few games of Lee fighting, as well as renditions of Chuck Liddell and Lydon Mitchell. I only had one response about the renders.
Wow.
UFC is seen as the primary contender to 2K Games and their WWE 2k15 franchise. With the improved graphics, the smoother motion, and vast variations of moves, 2K needs to step up their game to retain their title as the top fighting game on the market. We have three major casters on Senshudo who have organized UFC league in the past. I believe they will be picking this up as soon as it is out when the graphic improvements on the next generation consoles are shown.
The game I witnessed being played showed just how brutal Bruce Lee can be in the game. Rated as a 94 overall, he is a punching and kicking machine. Every game, he knocked out his opponents without resorting to mat work. However, he could be defeated, so Bruce Lee is not overpowered.
UFC releases Tuesday, June 17th.
