Club Nintendo Commemorative Goodbye Coin

By Callum Polak on 29/04/2024 21:51 UTC

As I made you aware back at the start of the year in January, Club Nintendo is closing the doors at the end of September this year.

Nintendo announced that they would be releasing exclusive items in the Nintendo eShop for which you can trade in your earned ‘stars.’ True to their promise, the last item to be released on the eShop is the ‘Club Nintendo Goodbye Coin’ to commemorate the 13 years of the club being active.

The coin is stamped with the Super Mario Bros. and with ‘thank you’ written in Japanese. On the other side is the Club Nintendo logo. It comes with a velvet drawstring pouch to keep it safe.
Roughly 40mm in diameter and 3mm in thickness, the silver plated commemorative coin is small but definitely worth the purchase.

The final item on the Club Nintendo catalogue can be yours for just 2000 stars. Since product registration for stars has been closed since April, you won’t be able to add any more stars to your balance so you will have to spend as many as you can before the end of September.

Nintendo has confirmed that a new loyalty program is in the works.
