Saturday, November 9th in Cologne, Germany Diablo® III: Reaper of Souls™ was revealed at gamescon but also playable too. With this expansion a whole new dark and terrifying chapter is opened up on the realm of Sanctuary. For those of you who played Diablo II: Lord of Destruction®, a familiar character makes his return not as a fallen Archangel, but as an Angel of Death. And it is up to us to track this character down and stop him from unleashing havoc on the world.
With this new expansion comes a new hero-the Crusader. Like all Crusaders this hero is a warrior of righteousness who has been hardened through brutal combat. Not only does this hero wield a range of weaponry, and dawn immensely heavy armor, he also uses magic to make allies stronger, and weakens foes.
As well, this new expansion will have greater emphasis on randomized environments, new quests, new monsters, and updates to the loot experience which will allow people to customize characters more with new multilevel Legendary items, and item-crafting.
