Thanks to Cheap Ass Gamer, news have surfaced about EA Access going free for a limited time. This is not official information at the moment, but reports have appeared online of emails being sent to let users know of this free period.
Want to share EA Access with a friend who couldn’t make it to EA Play? All Xbox Live Gold members can check it out for FREE from June 12-22, 2016. All they have to do is download the EA Access app on Xbox One to get started.
The wording of the above text makes it seem like it is a message intended for those attending EA's pre-E3-event. The dates stated in the text above happen to coincide with E3 week, which is also the week the EA Play conference will take place, so it's reasonable to assume that we can expect some form of announcement related to EA Access from one of these events.
It was previously announced that EA won't have a booth at E3 this year, but they will instead host their own event, EA Play, in LA and London. EA Access, meanwhile, is currently available on Xbox One. A PC version called Origin Access arrived earlier this year.
