Glenn Beck a political television and radio host who often expresses his views on video games and the violence they cause. From Call of Duty to this week’s highly anticipated game Watch_Dogs from Ubisoft.
Glenn Beck thinks Watch_Dogs teaches anyone who plays the game how to hack into your everyday devices, to which you have to ask is this guy smoking a special kind of crazy?
Firstly let me say if you’re going to comment on video games or any kind of product firstly know what you’re talking about and not reading of a piece of paper what the game is about. But we all now politicians are good at just reading of a piece of paper these days.
Simply holding down the X button doesn’t make you a hacker Glenn.
This of course brings us back onto the good old topic “Do video games cause violence?” which being a gamer myself I can safely say video games don’t cause violence it’s simply a new media which a lot people don’t know so they jump to conclusions because its more interactive than a book or a movie.
Parents should look and the age ratings before buying their child the game, or correctly research the game before buying it and make sure their kids know the difference between reality and fiction.
