EGX Rezzed: Expeditions: Viking

You probably won’t know already but Logic Artists, a Danish developer, released a game titled Expeditions: Conquistador way back in 2012 about commanding an expedition for your troops in a “choose-your-adventure” type of game. Well at EGX Rezzed 2016, Logic Artists came to show us their latest upcoming release; Expeditions: Viking.

Very much like the first Expeditions game, the player controls the leader of a group; this time, Nords. The story will take you from your weak nordic village, across the North Sea and into the British Isles where you can raid monasteries and villages, or just set up trade routes and form political alliances. In addition to this, the game is a comple free-roam, however in battles, it turns into a turn-based fight where each member of the nordic team swings a sword.

As of this moment’s development, the game will only see a Windows release for this autumn and a single-player only mode. We interviewed Casper from Logic Artists to find out more.

You can find out more about Expeditions: Conquistador on the game's Steam page as well as information and previews of Vikings' development on their Facebook page.
