The second round of Beta Testing for E3 2014 FPS hit Evolve has begun for Xbox LIVE Gold Subscribers today.
Xbox Live GOLD subscribers can access Evolve's "Hunt" mode, with the Kraken and Goliath monster being playable. Players will also be able to choose from 8 different hunters in the game and 12 different maps. On January 17th, the Xbox One beta will recieve a new mode called "Evacuation" in which players will play out a campaign mode that cycles through different gameplay maps and modes while telling a driven story. Any monsters or hunters you unlock during this beta test WILL carry over to the full game.
A closed beta test for certain PC users (who own Left 4 Dead or Bioshock: Infinite on STEAM) will hit on Janurary 16th and a PS4 beta for those who had access to the Evolve Alpha and have a Playstation Plus subscription will hit Janurary 17th. Players of the PC and PS4 version will not have access to the new game mode, nor will content carry over to the full retail game.
