Ubisoft dived a bit more into Far Cry 5 today during their E3 press conference, showing how gamers can tackle a cult in Hope county. Offering players total freedom to navigate a serene-looking, yet deeply twisted world, as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana. Players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Project at Eden's Gate, igniting a violent takeover of the county. Under siege and cut off from the rest of the world, players will join forces with residents of Hope County and form the Resistance.
Players can assemble a team of NPC’s, a sniper, a pilot and a trusty canine to embark on their mission to take down the cult across Hope County. The trusty pooch even fetches guns from enemies.
Launching Feb. 27, 2018. Far Cry 5’s story campaign will be playable start-to-finish in online co-operative play. It will offer additional multiplayer options, including a map editor.
