With the release of their latest Far Cry game right around the corner, Ubisoft has now released a live action trailer to show what exactly makes this game different from the others.
This time it's not about guns, but about guts. This is the catchphrase of this new live action trailer for Far Cry Primal. The trailer shows a soldier travelling back in time from our modern wars to the Stone Age where Far Cry Primal takes place. The feel of the trailer shows us exactly what is setting the game apart from the rest of the games in the Far Cry series.
From what we've seen from the game so far, this is far more than a simple reskin of the previous games. Even the marketing itself feels like a breath of fresh air to the series, like the CaveBnB announced last month. Far Cry Primal brings the promise of new mechanics, new weapons and an entirely new world to explore. You'll also get to build your own tribe and grow a community, in addition to crafting prehistoric weapons and taming the wildlife.
Far Cry Primal will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23rd. The game will be released on March 1st for Windows PC.
