The latest album of concert arrangements from Final Fantasy's VI, VII and X is released today, and promises to be the best yet.
Produced at the famous Abbey Road studios, played by the London Symphony Orchestra and engineered by the team behind The Lord of the Rings, producer Thomas Böcker has called it a "once in a lifetime production."
Legendary series composer Nobuo Uematsu, who was on hand throughout the recording process, called the project "a dream come true."
“I never imagined twenty years ago that I would be able to work with the London Symphony Orchestra. It’s just wonderful that there are so many people who like Final Fantasy music."
As well as buying the album, you can still support Uematsu in the Classic FM Hall of Fame by voting for your favourite game (or other) music - entries close next week. Let's keep Aerith's Theme in that top 10, people.
