During this years E3 event in June, Microsoft talked about their plans to release the Xbox One exclusives Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct to Windows 10. Six months has passed since with very little new info, but now Phil Spencer has revealed some interesting info through Twitter:
Haven't announced dates yet but won't be too far into 2016.
We can only guess what exactly Spencer's definition of "too far into 2016" is, but it can be reasonable to assume that we will see this happen within the first six months of the year. The developers of Killer Instinct have previously tweeted that their full game will be available for PC in March, but whether or not this launch window remains unchanged - or if it will affect the Gears of War PC launch - is too early to say.
