Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 OC Reviewed!

The GTX 770 is a powerful mid-range video card of the Geforce 7 Series. It is more than capable of playing most, if not all of your games at 1080p at Max Settings.

The video card requires a Minimum 600w Power Supply to run it. Requires a 6 Pin and a 6+2 Pin from your power supply to plug into the card. One thing I'd like to add is that this card is LONG! It's a 2 slot video card and the length is 11.5"

I've had the Gigabyte GTX 770 OC for a couple months now. I have not found a game I could not max out on this video card yet... That's how powerful it is. I play at 1920x1080 on every game I play. So saying that it can play everything I've tried flawlessly says alot! Now lets take a look at the specs.

1536 Shaders or Pipelines as we used to call them, 224.4 GB/s Memory Bandwidth and 2GB of Video Ram really makes this video card powerful with high resolutions in many games. There is a 4GB version of this video card as well so for those who play at a higher resolution, 2560x1440, then you can grab that card for the extra Memory Bandwidth to help with the Framebuffer on specific high res games. Now lets take a look at the Framerate Benchmark Tests for 5 of the most intensive games that I own.

All of these FPS Averages were calculated with the games running at max settings, except a couple on anti-aliasing, and at 1920x1080 resolution. This video card really does power through some of the most intensive and beautiful games out there.

I would highly recommend this card. Not just because of it's power but also because of it's price! It is really comparable to the GTX 680 but it beats it out in speed and price. Gigabyte really stepped up on it's cooling system with the Windforce 3X Fan Setup with their Copper Heatsink Pipes. This video card never gets over 55*C in a 75*F room temp at 100% Usage. That temp may vary depending on your card and room temperature but if it is built as well as mine is then you'll never have to worry about aftermarket cooling.

The Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 OC is on sale right now on many computer parts websites and retail stores for $399
