We dropped by to take a look at Gratuitous Space Battles 2 in the Rezzed area of the show floor. After having played the original title (Gratuitous Space Battles), this title took us by surprise. The graphical update that has been made here is breathtaking. There is an impressive depth of field added to the game that really lends to the impression of floating through the middle of lens-flared space.
Along with this, there is such a high level of customisation added to your fleet, that you can alter the smallest outcropping of your ships to meet your needs. Once you\'ve done this, you can pit them in epic battles against fleets from around the world. This gives almost endless replayability to the game for years to come.
