During the Microsoft E3 Media Briefing, 343 Industries finally took the wrapper off the long awaited Halo Wars 2.
A new trailer and release date were revealed. The game will launch on Feburary 21st, 2017 on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Very few details were released other than that Halo Wars 2 will once again offer a "different take on the series first person combat, giving players an aerial view to control both human and alien forces in real-time strategy battles".
The game is being developed by 343 Industries and is being co-developed by The Creative Assembly (the team behind the Total War games).
343 and Microsoft also revealed that the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 will come with the Newley announced Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. The Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 will also come with the Halo Wars 2 Season Pass and access to the game four days ahead of its worldwide launch date.
