LagSpike TV will be participating in Extra Life 2013. LagSpike TV would like to invite its community to participate as part of its team raising money for Children's Hospitals by playing and live streaming video games.
Extra Life, for those unfamiliar, is a 24-hour gaming marathon that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network. It all began in 2008 to honor the memory of a truly incredible young girl named Victoria Enmon. She lost her battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but not before touching and changing the lives of all those around her.
To participate in Extra Life 2013, register for an account at http://extra-life.org/ after registering, and choosing a hospital which you would like to support, visit our team page at http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=11737 and click the join this team to participate as a part of the LagSpike TV Community total goal.
Visit our community forums to discuss how and when you will be streaming so we can help bring awareness to your channel during your Extra Life marathon. Additionally, LagSpike TV will be running a marathon on the 2nd November for 25 hours. During this time, we will stream a number of broadcasters and a variety of games. Contact the LagSpike TV administrators: Stewart 'SweptSquash' Marsh, David 'NE_Dave' West, Joe 'Numbers' Delany, or Ron 'DarkAura' Lever if you wish to be a part of the broadcast during the 25 hour marathon on the LagSpike TV channel. We will announce before the event who will be streaming at given times on the channel.
