Blizzard has announced the newest characters that will be added to its fast paced MOBA title, Heroes of the Storm, and the new characters will be a delight for Diablo fans.
The two new additions to the game will come in the form of Diablo's Necromancer and Wizard. Xul, the Diablo II Necromancer will sport his trademark ability to summon skeletons at will while Diablo III's Wizard Li-Ming joins alongside armed with an arsenal of high-damage spells.
The incredibly powerful skillset of the Necromancer will allow "for him to become a great assassin or split pusher...and the Wizard debuts as one of the games highest skill-cap characters to date" read the announcement.
It should be noted that the new characters coming from the Diablo series happens just as the new season of Diablo III is beginning as well. A coincidence? We'd like to think its all smart planning on Blizzards part.
The new characters will be available in game soon, but no exact date was given at the time of this writing for their release.
Heroes of the Storm is available now on PC from Activision-Blizzard Entertainment.
