Hitman 2 Confirmed For November Release

By AJ Hanson on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

After being leaked online a few days ago, with teases from Warner Bros. and IO Interactive since, Hitman 2 was officially revealed on a livestream today.

The game will launch on November 13th, 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

Unlike the previous Hitman title, Hitman 2 will not be released episodically, instead favoring a full game release this time around. The new title will take the bald-headed Agent 47 to new locations including a racetrack in Miami and a rainforest jungle setting.

Unravel the past of the elusive Shadow Client as you track your targets across 6 new exotic locations and improvise the biggest kills in franchise history.

IO Interactive previously revived the Hitman series as an episodic adventure in 2015, which was recieved well by fans and critics alike.

There isn't much else to go on at the moment, but hopefully we will learn more at E3 2018 next week. A new announcement trailer can be seen below.
