iBested Clipz Launches

By Stewart Marsh on 29/04/2024 21:51 UTC

One of the best features of the Xbox One is the ability to create clips from the last thirty seconds of gameplay. But we don’t really have anything like that for PC unless you have a dedicated Hard Drive for hours’ worth of recording and editing.

Until now, iBested best known for their tournaments with League of Legends with the ability to win prizes, launched iBested clipz this week. Providing you with the ability to record the last thirty seconds of gameplay and upload it to the iBested site for all to see & comment.

While still in its infant days, iBested Clipz has a lot of potential, currently supporting Windows Vista, 7 and Windows 8. iBested Clipz runs in the background capturing your primary monitor and currently only works with games not running in true fullscreen (borderless windowed or fullscreen windowed).

What would we like to see in potential future versions of the software/site?

  • Ability to customize the capture button to a custom keyboard shortcut
  • Fullscreen capture
  • Ability to move the captured files/installation to another drive
  • Remember Login details
  • Ability to view/comment on clips directly from the program
  • YouTube integration for those who want to upload it to YouTube in conjunction with iBested
  • Change what screen is currently being captured
  • Change Audio Devices/Video settings
  • View all clips by a user (Profiles)
  • Video Embedding

iBested Clipz has a huge potential in the PC Industry for capturing these clips much like how the next generation consoles currently have this feature built in and have proven to be quite popular, it would see users who capture hours work of gameplay just to edit a few minutes down. Switch over to this program allowing those thirty second clips to be captured with ease and uploaded for the world to see.

We recommend you try it out and leave them as much feedback as you can to help improve the software through their social networks or via the contact page found on their site.
