Ubisoft Massive have revealed the first of its free DLC for Tom Clancy's The Division will hit April 12th. Revealed during their latest community livestream, Ubisoft detailed their PvE raid content, called Incursions, and a host of other features for players to sink their teeth into.
The first Incursion, called Falcon Lost, will be set in a new underground water-treatment facility. Its been turned into a stronghold for the Last Man Battalion. Falcon Lost has two difficulties; Hard Mode which is recommended for players whose gear score equals level 31, and Challenge Mode which will be "even tougher". There are no check points in Falcon Lost so if your team wipes, you need to start the whole Incursion again. Players will be able to take on the Incursion as many times as they want and still receive new loot.
While the Agent Level is capped at 30, players can now gear themselves beyond their level. This is being touted as "a new way of leveling up for top-level players."
Loot trading is finally making its way into the game. If you get good loot, you can drop it on the ground and make it available for your group members to take from you. In the Dark Zone, however, you can only drop loot inside the Dark Zone gate.
New tasks, called Assignments, are making their way into the game. They are meant as brief, optional side goals that update daily and can earn players Phoenix Credits, Division Tech, and other rewards.
Supply drops will periodically fall from the sky in the Dark Zone, giving players and other groups something to battle over. They're also protected by tough enemies, but the loot doesn't need to be extracted, and cannot be stolen once acquired.
When your agent dies, players can "camera follow" their teammates, seeing what they're doing and offering tactical support.
Enemies can now deploy drones. Players will also be pitted against an armored personnel carrier, which acts as a boss and cannot be hit by bullets, forcing players to find "another way" to deal with it.
The Incursions update will be followed by another free update, Conflict, which will add a new Incursion into Columbus Circle, as well as new Dark Zone features. Three paid DLC packs will also make their way into The Division throughout the year--Underground, Survival, and Last Stand--Which will introduce new areas and threats to New York for players to deal with. The paid DLC will be available for purchase individually, or as part of the Season Pass.
