The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild File Size Is 40% of Switch's Storage. Yes, you read that right. 40. Percent.

Revealed during the Nintendo Event in New York, downloading The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will require 13.4 GB of storage. This storage size applies only to the digital version of the new RPG title and come in slightly over the Wii U Digital Edition which is 13 GB in size.

The Switch has been revealed to have 32 GB of internal storage, but that doesn't mean that all of it is usable. As is the case pretty much every other piece of technology with an operating system, the Nintendo Switch OS will take up a good chunk of that. Thankfully, the Nintendo Switch has a micro-SD card slot and is expandable up to 256 GB.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd, 2017.
