Let it Die Launches at the PSX Experience

The PSX Experience was a smash hit for Sony this year, ushering in new software builds and announcements. This year, Senshudo was able to play a build of Let It Die, a brand-new third person hack-n-slash brawler from Grasshopper Manufacture. Set in post-apoc Japan, players jump in the shoes of an unarmed fighter that must gather new items and weapons throughout an insane world of brawlers and baddies.

A few striking aspects were characters can dual-wield weapons, slashing away at baddies with ease. Also the game makes full use of the touchpad, a design choice we haven't seen much of lately in many PS4 games.

Also, when your character dies, the game uploads your stats into a database and reincarnates your previous self into what's known as a "Hater." The game takes control of these Haters (you gotta watch out for 'em!) and throws them into other players' worlds as if they were a boss. Imagine fighting off against the top Hater! The game features voice acting from Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams (two actors that need no introduction coughstarwars). Exclusive to the PS4, it's available for download for the PS4 now!
