Lords of the Fallen

Lords of the Fallen by CI Games was being showcased in one of the conference rooms at E3. Senshudo.tv was invited to take a look at the game. After being invited in, we found ourselves alone with no guidance as the developers were dealing with bloggers doing interviews. Stew sat down at the game and started playing, then alternated with AJ as I observed.

The game will inevitably be compared to Dark Souls 2, but seemed much harder. Yes, much harder. The graphical detail was fantastic, some of the best I've seen in a fantasy game. But, with no guidance by the developers, we were fumbling around in the game. Finally, Stew got some of it mastered and almost took down the huge ogre-like monster. However, at one point, AJ and Stew were being pounded by multiple opponents.

Classes and equipment could be changed between fights, meaning in one fight, one could cast spells, while in another you could be using sword, dagger, staff, or hammer. Equipment seemed diverse, and would change your spellcasting powers.

Lords of the Fallen will be out by December on the XBox One, PS4, and PC.
