The launch trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda, the long-awaited follow up to the Mass Effect trilogy has landed. Giving us with more mysterious hints at the crisis that befalls the Andromeda Initiative at the end of its 600-year journey.
While we already know, the player will take on the role of the Pathfinder, a title that seems to initially be that of the father of the main character: Ryder. What happens to the elder Ryder remains unknown, but things seem even more dire in the launch trailer released today.
It appears the Golden worlds the Andromeda Initiative set out to find, doesn’t pan out how the expected to be, indicating that the initiative has not found the galaxy Andromeda to be as hospitable as expected.
We’ll find out exactly what all this means in less than a couple weeks when Mass Effect: Andromeda launches March, 21st.
