While Microsoft may have announced the release date to the Xbox One today, it has also stated that it will continue to support the Xbox 360 until 2016 with over 100 new games before the time comes to say goodbye to the Xbox 360.
Xbox chief marketing and strategy officer Yusuf Mehdi also stated that the Xbox One launch wouldn't have a negative impact on the Xbox 360 insisting that the two can and will co-exist happily untill 2016. This being said will be giveing those who are still unconvinced by the next generation of consoles time to think before investing into a new console.
