We still don't have a release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda. We do, however, have some more details on the upcoming Bioware third person RPG. This time, courtesy of Game Informer.
Firstly, it has been revealed that not all of the original trilogys species will be in Andromeda, though they may show up in future Mass Effect games.
"We've designed the IP in such a way that they can all show up...For hopefully obvious reasons, they're not all going to show up in the first game." said creative director Mac Walters. Not to worry gamers, however, Mac did confirm that you will still be meeting new people. More companions will join your ship, The Tempest, along the way. Some of these species "might even be ones we haven't seen before..."
Bioware was recently quoted as saying that Mass Effect: Andromeda is the company's "biggest game ever. " and that while there will be more games in the series along the way, they might not be a trilogy.
