Mortal Kombat 1 is no stranger to guest fighters, with previously featured guests Omni-Man and Peacemaker making absolute massive waves in the community upon release. However, one previously hinted at fighter has yet to make an appearance in the game. That changed during the MK1 Pro Kompetition over the weekend, where we got a quick look at that final guest fighter, Homelander from Amazon's The Boys.
We'll let the trailer speak for itself, and while the trailer is only 45 seconds long, it is jam packed with "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" action and showcases just how powerful Homelander is going to be once he releases as part of the Kombat Pack 'soon'.
It should be noted that Homelander IS the final guest character in Mortal Kombat 1's Kombat Pass, however he is the fifth of six characters added to the roster expansion via said pass, Takeda will be released later this year.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available now on Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Kombat Pass is also available now, both as a standalone purchase and included in the premium editions of the game.
