Frontier, developers of the popular space-sim game, Elite Dangerous have confirmed multi-crew ships and character creation will be seeing its way into the game in the next seasonal DLC set for release early in 2016.

Planetary landings have also been confirmed for this next DLC, which has been named “Elite Dangerous: Horizons.” Many players are delighted to hear of this with it being something players have wanted since the KickStarter campaign for the game began in 2012.

You’ll be able to share and alternate control of weapons systems, turrets and flight duties to multiply your effectiveness. Even to the extent of piloting a ship-launched fighter and working in combination with the mothership. It’ll be especially useful in some of the very large trading ships coming in season two.

Existing owners of Elite Dangerous will receive a £10 discount when attempting to pre-order the DLC, while new players will have to pay £39.99.
