EA and DICE peeled back the Star Wars Battlefront wrapper a little more today, revealing a new multiplayer mode.
The new mode, called Blast, is a team deathmatch mode which pits players 10 versus 10 against each other playing as either Imperial or Rebel forces on smaller, close quarters maps.
DICE stressed, ahead of ensuing questions, that the maps are NOT simply scaled down version of their larger maps. They are specially designed close quarter maps with all new close quarter weapon pick ups and perks exclusive to those maps.
All of this excitement will finally be in the hands of gamers this Holiday Season as Star Wars Battlefront launches November 17th on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
