New Studio For Fallout 4 Developer, Bethesda.

Developers of Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls series, Bethesda, have opened a brand new studio in Montreal, Canada.

The new Bethesda studio consisting of 40 developers, spanning across both mobile and console games is being led by studio director, Yves Lachance, Senior VP on Wolfenstein: The New Order and Fallout Shelter.

‘We’ve worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time, and decided it was time to open a studio there’, said Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard. ‘It’s exciting to think about the new games we’ll be building together.’

Considering the success of Fallout Shelter and an interview way back in July hinting at a newer focus on mobile games, it could be highly possible this is intended to focus on either mobile companion apps or mobile spin-offs of Bethesda's popular franchises.

Both Maryland and Montreal studios are currently hiring staff for what will probably be a new RPG game. A new Bethesda studio likely means that we could look forward to a new game, or in fact just games with more depth- either way I think this is something we should be excited about.
