New Update To Fallout Shelter - Cute Dogs!

By Sam Murray on 29/04/2024 21:51 UTC

As you most likely will remember, Bethesda brought out a surprisingly nifty little mobile game during their Showcase at E3. It's surprisingly fun and non-reliant on the ever-present micro-transactions and finally it's getting an update to add some more functionality into it that everyone will enjoy. Considering they're opening up a new studio in Montreal headed by the lead developer for Fallout Shelter, it's easy to see this becoming a regular feature.

Dwellers will be getting a bunch of new conversation topics to add a little more variety in with the ability to boot them out of your vault altogether if they're not quite as high levelled or useful as you'd like. This could be pretty handy as, once you get into the game a little, some of your low-end vault dwellers are pretty weak compared to the newcomers.

There'll be a new 'sell all' option in your inventory to save wearing your fingers down to bloody nubs trying to clear out your inventory from crap +1 weapons and outfits. This comes bundled with a bunch of optimisations, new objectives and management abilities that aren't specified.

The only reason I thought this was news-worthy was due to the fact that I actually really enjoyed this when it came out and got bored of it. Maybe it's time to reinstall and give it another whirl!

Oh, and they added dogs and cats to the game. Considering Fallout's practice of keeping you topped up on dog companions throughout, this is clearly the hypest news that will come out this side of E3 2016.
