Not to be outdone by the likes of Nintendo and its Mario Kart franchise, Nikelodeon have announced a new kart racing game that stars the characters from your favorite Nikelodeon series. Called Nikelodeon Kart Racers, the game will be published by GameMill Entertainment, the same publisher who spawned Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers with development being handled by Bamtang.
Confirmed characters include icons like Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, TMNT's Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, Rugrats' Angelica, Tommy, Reptar, and Arnold and Helga from Hey Arnold.
The game will also feature 24 race tracks that are inspired by popular Nikelodeon locales like Tommy Pickle's house, Arnold's school, Bikini Bottom, and more. Team based co-op as well as local free-for-all multiplayer will also be available. Like Mario Kart 8, players will be able to customize their karts to their hearts content. An assortment of power ups will also be available around the track which allow characters to perform special attacks.
Nikelodeon Kart Racers will release on October 23rd, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
