Nintendo held another one of their e-famous Nintendo Indies Showcases today and while it didn't bring any real shocking news, it did provide us with some new port information for Nintendo's in-demand console.
First off, Super Meat Boy Forever is getting a Switch port! The sequel to Super Meat Boy will release in 2018 and will involve Dr. Fetus kidnapping Meat Boy and Bandage Girl's infant baby, Nugget. You, the player, have to retrieve her from his clutches.
Shovel Knight is also getting a new campaign, called Shovel Knight: King of Cards. KoC will be a prequel to the Shovel Knight series that will give players a backstory for the games protagonist. A digital card game will be featured heavily and it will be a free expansion for anyone who already owns Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove!
The Switch will also be getting an action-adventure game, Mulaka, that looks beautiful and reminded us here of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in some aspects.
Attack on Titan fans might enjoy the next Indie title slated to hit the Nintendo Switch. Morphie's Law is a 3D shooter where players are towering monsters who grow larger as they sever enemy limbs. "Each weapon hit transfers mass from the victim's infected limb to the corresponding limb of the wielder of the weapon. As an immediate consequence, skilled players become tall and easy to hit, whereas beginners shrink until they become difficult targets." reads the game description. Huh.
Battle Chef Brigade involves hunting monsters and cooking them up to impress critical judges. Think Monster Hunter meets Hell's Kitchen. The game should release in 2017.
Finally, No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again will be coming in 2018. This is the third entry in the series after the Wii action games launched in 2008 and 2010.
