The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the first Zelda title to have a Season Pass. Available March 3rd for $19.99, the new Expansion Pass will offer two extra content packs. Both of these packs will be released later in 2017 and neither of them can be purchased individually.
Pack 1 will release Summer 2017 and will include "A new Cave of Trials challenge, a new Hard Mode feature, and a new feature for the in game map". Pack 2 will release around Holiday 2017 and will include "A new dungeon, a new original story, and additonal challenges."
Those who purchase the Expansion Pass will also immediately unlock three extra treasure chests in the Great Plateau. Two of these will contain "useful items" while the third will (strangely) include a Nintendo Switch logo'd T-Shirt that Link can wear around during his adventures.
