During their Nintendo Switch Presentation, Nintendo spent a good chunk of time talking about the titles that will make up the Switch's game library. Among them are the launch titles that will release alongside the console March 3rd.
To start things off, Splatoon 2 was revealed for a summer 2017 release. And while I think they missed a grand opportunity to call it Spla2oon, it looks like a full fledged sequel VS the HD Remake/remaster most were expecting.
A brand new 3D Mario title was also shown off called Super Mario Odyssey and it looks absolutely incredible. This new mario will mark the first time that Nintendo has created a full fledged 3D Mario title since Super Mario Sunshine. Super Mario Odyssey will release Holiday 2017.
A brand new Xenoblade title was revealed, Xenoblade 2, and looks to continue the adventures of the original Xenoblade in glorious HD fashion. All of the stops surely have been pulled out this time. We can't wait to see more of this one.
A few more games were shown with few details. Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI are in development from Square Enix, it was confirmed.
After the "will they, won't they" saga of the past few months, Bethesda confirmed that Skyrim is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
EA revealed that FIFA will eventually grace the Switch with its presense but had little to say on other upcoming titles.
A quick montage was released, and showed many titles including Minecraft, NBA2k18, and Steep.
Hopefully in the coming weeks, we will get a better idea of what titles will comprise the launch window.
