Nintendo To Focus On Zelda At E3 2016

Nintendo have revealed that their E3 look will be much different this year than in past years. Unlike years past, where they have held either a major press conference like rivals Sony and Microsoft or held an online only "Nintendo Direct" event, this year Nintendo is focusing solely on the recently delayed Legend of Zelda game for Wii U.

Not only will E3 mark the first time this new Zelda title will be playable by the public, it will reportedly be the only Nintendo game available for demo in their space. Nintendo, in a blog post, said they want to give fans an extended look and more time with the title so that they gain a deeper understanding of what the game will be.

The game will supposedly be a departure from previous titles as players will not be focused down set paths and new gameplay mechanics will be added.

It seems as if Nintendo is hedging all their bets in one place. Here is hoping it pays off for them! We'll have more from E3 in Los Angeles June 14-16.
