Origin Access Is Getting A Free Trial

By AJ Hanson on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

As far as PC gaming platforms go, Origin has been one of the least well recieved experiences when compared to the likes of Steam and GOGalaxy. Thanks in part to a significant overhaul last year, EA's Origin service has become much more user friendly and streamlined. It is no surprise then, that EA have revealed that their Origin Access program is getting a limited time free trial.

Right now, Origin users can sign up for a free seven day trial of Origin Access which will grant users full access to the library of games available on the service. Origin Access not only grants users into the vault of games, but also offers limited-time early access to pre-release titles (the next slated title is Mass Effect: Andromeda) and also gives 10% off the purchase price of any game in the Origin store.

EA adds new games to the Origin Access Vault all the time but is currently highlighted by titles like Battlefield 4, the Dragon Age series, and the full Mass Effect Trilogy.

No time frame was given for how long this offer stands as of this writing but the Origin website does state that this offer is for a "limited time" only.
